Since 2004, the Collective Responsibility for Excellence and Ethics (CREE) instrument has been used in multiple schools and districts around the country, including those participating in several Partnerships for Character Education Program projects administered by the Federal Department of Education. It is built around a conceptual model (Khmelkov, Davidson, and Lickona, 2007-2009) that identifies school inputs, intermediate, and long-term outcomes related to the culture and competencies of excellence and ethics. Currently, CREE is available in two primary versions.
Collective Responsibility for Excellence & Ethics: Power2™ Programming (CREE-P2 v4.1) is calibrated to deliver data for program evaluation, as well as general benchmarking and continuous assessment of faculty practices, school culture, and students competencies of excellence and ethics.
